Or the time you each wore jeans and white, starched, button-down shirts, with sleeves casually rolled-up, for a trip to the beach? None of the above?Then can someone explain to me why this is an appealing way to attire yourselves for a family portrait?It is much more revealing of character and personality to allow people to dress in comfortable, familiar clothing from their own wardrobes, chosen with care. Utilizing guidelines I’ve developed over many years, my clients and I plan what the portrait-sitters will wear so that they fit into the group, while maintaining their individuality – like a real family.
