One of the highlights of the Boston photographic scene is the New England Photography Biennial at Danforth Art in Framingham every other fall. This is one of those exciting years and, to make matters even better, this year’s Biennial is being juried by Susan Nalband, Director of 555 Gallery in Boston. Photographers, don’t miss this! The DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS just around the bend, this coming MONDAY, JULY 13th AT MIDNIGHT! All relevant application materials (and the link to the application via Slideroom) can be found at: http://www.danforthart.org/newenglandphoto2015.html

An engaging, must-see show for the Boston photographic community, the last Biennial (superbly juried by Dr. Francine Weiss) occasioned my first visit to Danforth Art. The images here are from the photographers featured in that show. (For my review, go to: http://elinspringphotography.com/blog/danforth-biennial-2013/). That trip to Framingham initiated my devotion to Danforth Art exhibitions and programming that mirrors their strong support of photography.

Mark your calendars now – New England Biennial Photography at Danforth Art will open on September 9, 2015 and run through December 6, 2015.
